How to Install libgdal-java software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

libgdal-java software package provides Java bindings to the Geospatial Data Abstraction Library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libgdal-java

libgdal-java is installed in your system.

Make ensure the libgdal-java package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgdal-java *
